Document validation

Check here whether the version of the document you have in your possession is the most recent

Check if the document is valid

Document validation allows, through the validation code present in each printed SIAC document, to verify whether the data matches that registered in SIAC or whether the record has been changed in the meantime.

Whenever an animal's record is updated, the validation codes previously issued are no longer considered valid and the system alerts, indicating that the document in question no longer corresponds to the record that actually exists in the database.

Where is the validation code located:

The validation code is in the footer of any document downloaded from the database (e.g. DIAC, death certificate, sterilization certificate and/or animal disappearance certificate). The code is composed of letters and numbers. Example: 14a7b9a3

In the form below, indicate the animal's transponder number and validation code.
